The new ŠKODA Superb was a new era for the ŠKODA brand, and came with the majestic tagline, ‘Travel in style, travel in space.’ It is one of the biggest executive cars on the market and has a sleek, edgy design. As lead creative and designer, I art directed and retouched the ŠKODA Superb’s principle photography, and handcrafted concept, UX and UI of the launch campaign splash page. Our integrated digital campaign became a finalist for The Drum Network and the DADI awards.
The ŠKODA VR App was created so that users could experience driving the new ŠKODA Superb, without physically being in the car. A direct mail pack was sent to 2,000 business fleet managers, and it contained a ŠKODA-branded cardboard VR headset, and instructions for downloading the VR app from Apple or Google Play app stores via a QR code. They could book a fleet demo of a real-life test drive on the website via the app. We were nominated for the Drum Network and the DADI awards. An outstanding 1 in 4 fleet managers who were sent the pack downloaded the app, with 490 downloads attributed directly to the pack.
